How is everyone doing so far?

Postby Matt Barnard on Fri Oct 02, 2009 1:49 am

We've been doing OK so far. Need some more crops picked to get caught up with the geese. It has been hit and miss. Doing OK with the ducks. Colder temps may get them off of the ponds for a feeding trip. All in all, a good season so far.

Geese started off slow in MN. The last few weeks they have started to get going. Ducks are real slow where i live, but about what I expect. Over all season has been ok. I ready for the Dakotas!!!

Have stayed steady with an average of 2 canada's per outing (pretty good here in New Hampshire). In several years I have never gotten a band. This year I have a flock come into my back yard (4 acres on a private pond). Set up the next day and took two out of the flock, can you believe they both had BANDS!!! Only two geese but the best day. They still come in but I won't take anymore out of this group.
