war eagle boats opinion

Was wanting some opinions on war eagle boats found one with a 23hp go devil and trailer and think its a pretty good deal. Any issues i should look for? any help would be appreciated

they are tanks, tough as nails, i've got a 1648 and it is awesome. The only complaint I have is the short transom because I got on some open rough water occasionally, but the deep sides make it plenty safe

cant beat a war eagle, i run a 17' with a 25 hp MudBuddy hyperdrive and with 3 guys+gear i hit 31 mph no problem and i can run thru mud or about 6" water

Is that supposed to be a 35? Cause I have a friend that has a boat similar to Calef's boat, with a 90 and it does 40 on a GPS, loaded.
