Superb Customer Service
I had inquired last year about getting my 2 BF Canada floater decoys replaced, as they would sink like submarines after about 6-8hrs in the water. Do to procrastination and the way our season had gone...I didn't get around to sending them. I had them packed and ready to go, but never did.
Fast forward to two weeks ago. I call Brenda from BF and she said she would look into it. Never heard back from her. I called yesterday...and spoke with her and she was speaking with someone that, that told her to tell me, to send them back. Seeing as they were boxed and ready to go...that part was finished.
Well, this morning I get a call, and not knowing the number I was introduced to the man himself. Art Ladehoff. Asked me the same questions as Brenda did and then some others. He got explaining things to me, and why things might make them sink. One of them has a long crack along the breast and keel....but I'm not sure where the leak is on the other.
Anyway, to make a long story short...the man himself said not to ship them back as shipping is a killer, and that he would ship me two new ones. I was floored.
I've been going over in my head as to which floaters or full bodies to go with, well....that just sealed the deal as to which I'll purchase next. Big Foots.
Thanks Art and all you staff.
PS: I have the decoy in the freezer. It's been there for 10 minutes and has not collapsed. It has to be one small hole or crack. I am scratching me head over that one. I'll try the hot water next.
Ok...the hot water did make it balloon like a dead possum on the side of the road. The thing is....there is a small hole located half way back the decoy, near the water line. Not having the decoy balloon...I would not have known how that decoy was leaking.
Again...thank everyone that took care of me.
