Hey fellas, finally made a photobucket account so I can post up some photos. We had a pretty good early season here again. KY has a 9 day season so you can kinda figure on getting in two or three hunts, by the time you scout and the days missed for having to work. Our best day was our first day and first pictured is half of that 6 man limit. We hunted fewer guys the rest of the time, one four man limit, one skunk, and we eeked out three the last day. I had a tough time with camera batteries staying charged so I don't have as many final pictures in the field as I had wanted. Bad to say that we do better in the early season than the late now days. Lots of fun though. Hope everyone has a safe and successful season this year. Look out next Friday, Canada here we come! Good luck to all.

Nice, it would be hard to get in alot of big hunts in for only 9 days. Looks like you guys did real good tho and had a good time doin it. I wish i had that rig with the ranger.

looks like a pretty slick set up you have there, and a band in the first season!

The rig belongs to my hunting partner on the far left in the first photo. It has been a mainstay for our field excursions over the last couple of seasons. Trailer is custom built with axles the same width as the ranger, with floatation tires, for ease of pull in muddy fields late in the season. We haven't gotten it stuck yet, even driving through shallow backwater (knock on wood). Notice the trap door at the top right corner. The opening is large enough to shove Big Foots in after the main gate is closed to maximize storage. Blinds go on top with straps or in the bed, depending on the size and style. We usually hunt 3 to 4 guys, but can go a couple more with one extra trip to the truck. All in all it is a very functional set up.

BFD, yes hopkinsville is pretty close to here. I can do it in about an hour, give or take 15. Winnipeg is our destination. This will be my fifth consecutive trip to Manitoba. I will definitely post pics.
