Whent out yesterday morning looking for some divers.... well... we got em. 4 man limit, buffies, goleneyes, ringers, a mallard, and a few mergies.


This morning we whent out to the same spot to find the bay frozen over and had to break ice out to the point where there was a spot where the water didnt freeze. This time we got 9 mallards, 2 buffies, and 2 mergies, kind of opposite from yesterday. We saw some HUGE flocks of divers but they all rafted up in the middle.

Yes honey, I've always had that many decoys!

I live in MN too. Today was my last day (#@%$ school). It was a very slow day, we whent to the place where we shot that limit and 13 the next day and saw at least 3000 divers. Well that full moon and clear sky last night did us in, only a hand full of divers left and the mallards wont listen to the calls.

I was watchin the weather, looks like you boys in MN,WI,and N..IL are have'in a pretty big storm. How much snow did ya'll get???

I live around tha Mankato area and we only recieved a couple of inches and sleet which covered everything in ice. At least we did not get a ton of snow so that there isn't a lot on the lakes. Know for the cold to make a lot of ice this year before we get too much snow.
