This might have been posted already but now that the season is over just wondering how the paint and durability of the duck floaters held up. we hunt almost everyday of the season from canada to arkansas so our decoys see the abuse. used big foot goose full bodies and floaters this year and was very impressed. if the ducks are as good then i guess i'll have to get some.

Its a pretty good decoy, i kinda badmouthed 'em at the beginning of the season on some paint and a few keels craking. But after i seen my cousins GHG's after the season i felt better. PLUS, theres a lifetime guaranteed, so all you have to do is send 'em back. I think it made the difference on those high flyin flocks, cause its a little bigger decoy. Even if you shoot one and it fills up with water it WILL NOT SINK, i guess cause of the harder plastic.just my $.02

Ok, Bigfoot backs up there decoys, thats awesome. However, It costs quite a bit of money to be shipping decoys back if they break, not to mention the inconvenience of having to ship decoys that break when you need them during the season.

Solution: we need decoys that dont break, or chip paint. To anyone that surfs the internet quite a bit you will see that these don't seem to exist.

My experience: Get the GHG Hotbuy mallards, 25 bucks a doz, I this the new ones are very durable and work well, look great.

They are small, but so are live ducks, so I use them with confidence.

Ducks love geese, and if you have goose floaters, put those out and use just a few water duck decoys, the ducks will land right in with the geese.

I would say save the money you'd spend on duck floaters and buy more goose floaters, they along with a few ducks mixed in seem to decoy ducks better then having a bunch of just ducks out.

I don't mind having minor problems with my decoys, it is when a company will not do anything about it is when there is a problem. Clinton Iowa is close enough for me to drive decoys back to them, where as avery decoys you seem to be wasting your time. When using your decoys everyday of the season you want somehting good, so if anyone out there hunts somewhat as much as we do I'd like to here how the bigfoot duck floaters held up. I've used about every major brand out there and for durability and paint on ducks G&H seems the best so far. Just wondering about the bigfoots. I love the Bigfoot goose decoys they held up great!
