Hey guys,

I always see posts on how awesome the duck and geese hunts are after the Iowa season has closed so I was just curious as to what your seasons dates are in you home state.

Not early enough to not late enough... that about sums it up. Early goose goes from sept. 1-22 then closer for a week and then opens up again with duck Oct. 1 to whatever 60 days after that is. Then late goose it depends on what zone your in.

We have an early sept. goose and duck season which varies in the dates every year. Ducks & geese come back in Thanksgiving day, ducks last till the 3rd week in Jan. geese go till Jan. 31st. I have seen more honkers in the last week than all of the regular season, but they say birds are starting to (pair up) i think its a load of B.S. Rolling Eyes
